37th Violence Free Community Run

The 37th Annual Violence-Free Community Run, held on August 8, 2026, was a tremendous success. Participants enjoyed beautiful Alaska sunshine and comfortable temperatures of nearly 69 degrees, creating the perfect setting for a day of community, wellness, and connection.

Featuring both 5K and 10K races, this annual event brought together runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters around a shared vision: healthy families and a violence-free community. The event also raised awareness of the services and resources offered through LeeShore Center.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, and cheered along the course. Your support made this year's event meaningful and memorable, and together we continue to build a stronger, safer community for all.
