Community Awareness Workshop
The Community Awareness Workshop on Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault is a 5- day workshop held each April and October.
The next session will be in October 2024
Topics discussed include the Effects of Domestic Violence on Children, Substance Abuse and Victimization, Trauma Informed Care, and Resiliency. Invited guest speakers include Kenaitze Indian Tribe, Kenai District Attorney's office, Kenai Police Dept., and others.
$35 cost includes all supplies. Continuing education credit is available for an extra fee through Kenai Peninsula College.
